Nicola Lewis BA (Hons) FMCA
London, Harrow & Stanmore
I am a qualified solicitor now working full-time as a family mediator and communication specialist in the courts.
After a relationship breaks down you may have a complete lack of trust in the other person and find it impossible to communicate with them in a way that moves things forward. Working together we can help you to have those discussions so that you can separate financially and make arrangements for your children that work for everyone
Call Nicola now on 07713 578920 for a confidential introductory chat or email her directly at nicola@horizonmediation.co.uk
You may have been separated for a short time or many years but perhaps you have never found a way to get your voice heard in your exchanges about your children or how to separate your finances. I can help you to have that conversation in a way that actually works for you. Together, we can structure a co-parenting plan with the focus on the wellbeing of your children or a financial settlement arrangement that works for you or both.
I also work as a communication specialist with children from 4 to 18, assisting them to communicate their evidence in the criminal and family courts. I have transferred some of those communication skills in my work as a Child Inclusive Mediator. In this process, your children can have a voice in their future and they can help you to make decisions with their interests in mind.
I am one of Horizon’s dual-qualified mediators and carry out both commercial mediations and family mediations. I am qualified to offer bespoke one-day mediations where a concluded outcome can be reached in a day and MedArb, an alternative dispute resolution process that results in a final agreement even when you can’t resolve every issue between you.
I am a Family Mediation Council and a Civil Mediation Council accredited mediator (the gold standards in mediation) and I am a member of the College of Mediators. I am therefore able to provide you with the court paperwork if you need to go down that route.
I am committed to helping you find the solution that will work for you as quickly and cost-effectively as possible.
Step one in family mediation is to have the Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting, where I can explain what to expect in mediation and how to make the best use of the meetings. We can also discuss what needs sorting out.
